100state announced last week its new co-directors, Andrew Conley and Mike Fenchel, who begin officially their roles today.
“100state has always had organic leadership among the … directors, so throughout the year we’ve all been pretty involved,” Fenchel, who began some of his day-to-day leadership duties May 1, said. “(That) means we can really hit the ground running regardless of who is titled as our executive leadership.”
Fenchel said he and Conley will soon announce some “big moves,” but in the meantime, they will look to keep the coworking space as a mainstay of the community.
“We see this year as a huge opportunity to become a long-lasting foundation of innovation in the Madison community–not just in entrepreneurship, but also in philanthropy, education and the creative economies,” Fenchel said.
The two are succeeding Joe Sweeney, who will remain as one of the soon-to-be 13 board of directors.
