Madworks Coworking Seed Accelerator’s third class will graduate following presentations by the eight participating companies at 3 p.m. Monday, April 13 at University Research Park.
The accelerator offers a 10-week program for early-stage startups and provides these companies with mentors and experts, office space and a small grant upon completion of the program.
“We have a really interesting collection of companies trying to find success in industries ranging from mindfulness to luxury baby clothing to software,” Madworks Interim Communications Manager Louis Condon said in a statement. “The collaboration of a group of entrepreneurs with such various backgrounds created a diverse, exciting environment.”
According to a release, each startup will spend three minutes presenting its business model, followed by 10 minutes of Q&A and feedback from the audience. A small reception proceeds the presentations.
Startups in the cohort include Cho Cho, a company that creates luxury baby clothing, and Footsy LLC, a company that designs shower tools for the limited mobility population to aid in foot cleaning, among other areas.
