Entrepreneurs looking for legal advice can now turn to 1 Million Cups Madison, which announced today it will host free legal discussions periodically, beginning 9:15 a.m. July 15 at the Central Library.
“We want 1 Million Cups Madison to become a one-stop resource for local entrepreneurs to hone their ideas, work through their business problems and grow their companies,” Sarah Nettie, a volunteer organizer, said in a statement. “These legal roundtable discussions will add educational value for future and past 1 Million Cups presenters, and for audience members.”
Neider & Boucher Attorney Drew Coursin will talk about basics of trademark and copyright during the first roundtable.
According to a release, potential future topics include establishing LLCs, negotiating contracts, fundraising and employment law.
