100state announced this week it will be moving to the 6th floor of 30 W. Mifflin Street on Sept. 1.
“The new space will be great for 100state’s evolution,” Co-Director Mike Fenchel said. “The layout has a much larger event space, which will allow us to host 200 people comfortably.”
Fenchel said the move has been in the works for the past two months. The non-profit co-working hub was in need of a larger space for events and more private spaces for startups. The new building also houses gener8tor, a startup accelerator.
“We’re excited to be neighbors with gener8tor,” Fenchel said. “We see great opportunities to collaborate, both on programming, and by sending our emerging startups to them as they begin to grow and need acceleration.”
To celebrate the growth of of 100state during its first year, a special event will be held at the Overture Center at 5 p.m. Sept. 5. For more details, visit the 100thanks event page.
