Applications are now being accepted until July 26 for the eighth annual Startup Showcase, which will take place virtually from 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18 as part of Forward Festival, organizers announced recently.

As in past years, five startups will be selected to give a five-minute “demo day”-style pitch. Startup Showcase alumni also will give virtual one-minute update pitches.
