Madworks Coworking Seed Accelerator’s eighth class will graduate following presentations by the six participating companies at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6 at the @1403 building.
As previously reported, the accelerator offers a 10-week program for early-stage startups and provides these companies with tailored mentorship, information on how to build government acumen and a small grant upon completion of the program.
“Since adding the governance component to our program, we are seeing nascent entrepreneurs with stronger traction in our cohorts,” Madworks Coworking Seed Accelerator’s Operations Manager Eugene Kim said. “The community of entrepreneurs with such various and strong backgrounds create a diverse and exciting environment. It is very rewarding to see them share and bounce off ideas to reach a solution, which we help focus in come to fruition.”
According to a release, each startup with spend five minutes presenting its business model, followed by 10 minutes of Q&A and feedback from the audience.
Startups in the cohort include The BikeMobile, an appointment-based, on-site, bicycle repair van, and SciArt, a company that developed a software that speeds up the process of design optimization for prototyping of physical products.
