900dpi announced today it will cease operations on Dec. 31.
The company, which was founded two years ago, helped clients turn HTML, CSS and JS files into a website with a custom-built content management system (CMS).
“We are so proud of the work that we put in, and that we were able to create a product that helps to make your lives easier,” Co-Founders Aaron Larner and Abby Larner said in a statement. “However, over the past year, we have realized that 900dpi cannot meet the rapidly expanding needs of the CMS market and its users.”
According to an email announcement, files stored in Dropbox folders will remain intact, though the corresponding websites will be deactivated on Jan. 1, 2016. Refunds will be provided to users who purchased hosting.
