OneEvent Technologies is partnering with Church Mutual Insurance Company to install its OnePrevent Systems into selected churches and schools throughout the midwest to help protect against fire and other risks, the company announced recently.

“We developed this technology because we knew there was a better way to mitigate tragedies and alert occupants of a building before flames and smoke appeared and before carbon monoxide levels increased to harmful levels,” OneEvent President and CEO Kurt Wedig said in a statement. “With our software engine and learning algorithm, OneEvent can help prevent a disaster from happening in the first place.”

According to a release, Church Mutual is providing customers with the latest technology and offering this IoT solution through their CM Sensor program.

Installations of the technology began this month.
