Gener8tor and the Nehemiah Center for Urban Leadership Development, with support from the Madison Cooperative Development Coalition, are launching a Worker-Owned Cooperative Startup Accelerator this spring, organizers announced recently.
The free, four-week-long program will provide an opportunity for startups, entrepreneurs and justice-involved individuals to explore the worker-owned cooperative model and for existing cooperatives to identify best practices for scaling and building capacity.
The program will begin virtually Wednesday, May 18 with a panel discussion led by entrepreneurs from Soaring Independent Cooperative and Roots4Change.
Nehemiah is a Madison-based organization that cultivates character, leadership and economic development for the African-American community through culturally grounded programs.
