The Bodgery, a nonprofit makerspace, will host a public celebration for its 10th anniversary on Saturday, followed by a member-only after-party and potluck.
The public event will feature tours, demonstrations, a bake sale and a silent auction from noon to 4 p.m. at 740 Oscar Ave.
The Bodgery provides members with 24/7 access to their workspace, including a woodshop, metal shop, electronics equipment, laser cutters, 3D printers, and spaces for jewelry and glasswork making.
Since 2014, The Bodgery has expanded from a 900 to a 21,000+ square-foot workspace, served more than 8,000 community members and hosted more than 800 workshops.
The Bodgery encourages members of all experience levels to join their space. In addition to workspaces for members, the makerspace hosts bimonthly public tours and numerous workshops.
