Forward BIOLABS is one of seven organizations receiving Entrepreneurship Partner Grants from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), the organizations announced today.

According to a release, Forward BIOLABS is receiving $192,000 to provide 35 individuals with technical assistance support and 10 with financial assistance with scholarships.

“Our support of Wisconsin entrepreneurship sparks innovation, advances technology, creates jobs, and improves our quality of life,” WEDC CEO Missy Hughes said in a statement. “These grants will help people from all backgrounds achieve success and bring their ideas to life through education, advice, and financial support.”

The Entrepreneurship Partner Grants were created in 2021 to assist organizations that provide training, financing, mentorship and technical support to startups across the state.
