The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) has launched a pilot grant program for organizations to help small businesses, the organization announced today.
Organizations looking to develop innovative programs aimed at supporting small businesses can now apply for a Small Business Development Grant (SBDG).
“Small businesses play a vital role in communities across Wisconsin, but sometimes they need a little extra boost,” WEDC CEO Missy Hughes said in a statement. “With these grants, local organizations will be able to provide small business owners with an opportunity to thrive.”
According to a release, grant amounts will vary from $50,000-$250,000.
The deadline to apply is 4:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 18.
Recipients will be announced in early 2025.
