Applications for the next round of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) Entrepreneurship Partner Grants will open Monday, Jan. 6, the organization announced recently.
According to a release, this round of funding will focus on prioritizing new partners and new programs and aims to enhance support for underrepresented entrepreneurs in underserved areas. The maximum grant amount is $200,000.
“Entrepreneurs often need help to be able to thrive and succeed,” WEDC CEO Missy Hughes said in a statement. “By focusing on new partners or areas with limited access to support, WEDC is helping to create a more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem in our state.”
The deadline for applications is Jan. 31. Grant winners will be announced in May.
