ImageMover is expanding its colon cancer screening education program nationwide following the success of a yearlong pilot, the company announced recently.
The pilot, conducted through ImageMover’s Workflow Services software platform, focused on pharmacist-led clinical services to improve screening education.
“The data we collected in the pilot shows that we are unlocking a new, impactful healthcare channel,” Workflow Services President and CEO Kevin Houlihan said in a statement. “Access is one of the major challenges currently confronting the American healthcare system. And we’ve seen that by providing pharmacists with the right tools and guardrails in a platform like Workflow Services, we can make a real difference in closing care gaps and driving health outcomes.”
According to a release, 92% of the participating pharmacists in the study reported increased proficiency in their ability to educate patients about the impact of colorectal cancer screening.
Following the pilot’s success, ImageMover aims to help pharmacies nationwide integrate colorectal cancer screening education seamlessly into patient interactions through the Workflow Services platform.
