Apartment-listing company Abodo completed a Series A financing round of $1.25 million, led by American Family Ventures, the company announced today.
“After testing and improving the service in multiple markets, we’re ready to expand our footprint, and we’re excited to be doing it with backers who understand the real estate market and share in our vision to deliver a better experience,” CEO and Co-Founder Alec Slocum said in a statement.
4490 Ventures and Lakewest Venture Partners joined American Family Ventures in the round.
According to Slocum, the funding will be used for expanding into new cities, re-investing in the product and making some key hires.
ABODO currently serves markets such as Madison and Milwaukee. The company raised $325,000 last August.
