The Center for Technology Commercialization (CTC) is offering a free webinar titled Introduction to DoD SBIR/STTR Programs at 2 p.m. Aug. 27, the organization announced recently.

According to the CTC, Department of Defense Deputy Administrator Tracy Frost will provide an overview of grants and contract available through her organization, which has $1 billion in federal research money.

Small, technically oriented companies built around innovation, as well as individual researchers, professors, or high-tech professionals who want to start a company and have promising new technology that could be commercialized, are encouraged to attend.
