Exact Sciences announced this week that its Cologuard has won Popular Science magazine’s “Best of What’s New” Award.

“Exact Sciences is honored to receive this recognition from the editors of Popular Science,” CEO Kevin Conroy said in a statement.

Popular Science editor reviews new products and innovations each year. The products chosen must have made significant contributions to science. There are 12 categories, and the top 100 winners are featured in a special issue and on the magazine’s website.

Cologuard is an FDA-approved colorectal cancer screening test.
