Jerry Jendusa, co-founder of aviation products company EMTEQ, will be a keynote speaker at the 13th annual Wisconsin Entrepreneurs’ Conference in June, the Wisconsin Technology Council announced today.
“Jerry Jendusa’s story will cover not only his own entrepreneurial journey, but how young companies can avoid getting ‘stuck’ as they grow and build on their business plans and strategies,” Wisconsin Technology Council President Tom Still said in a statement.
Jendusa, a UW-Milwaukee graduate, saw his company grow to a global business with more than 630 employees and more than $100 million in sales. EMTEQ was acquired by BE Aerospace in 2014.
According to the release, the company produces interior and exterior lighting, aircraft systems and integration, and it offers design, certification and consulting services.
The two day conference will center on “Nurturing Entrepreneurial Roots” and will take place at the Alliant Energy Center.
