Forty-five startups, ranging in industries from healthcare to energy, will get the chance to pitch to potential investors at the 2015 Wisconsin Early Stage Symposium, held Nov. 4-5 at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center, organizers announced Monday.
According to a release, the 45 companies will be separated into two presentation stages. The Wisconsin Angel Network Investors’ track will give 28 companies the opportunity to share a five-minute presentation on Nov. 4, while the Elevator Pitch Olympics will highlight 17 companies who will each give 90-second pitches on Nov. 5.
The startups competing in the WAN track are AltusCampus, Amebagone, Arc Suppression Technologies, Cellara, Chefs for Seniors, Content XLerator, Cytegen, Digsite, Eventium, Export Abroad, Extract Systems, Fast Forward Forensics, FloraSeq, Gallerique, GeneriCo Pharma, Health eFilings, HealthMyne, Interloop, KIINCE, Medical Cyberworlds, Medical Engineering Innovations, NitricGen, OpenHomes, Pegasus Sustainability Solutions, Seiva Technologies, Stem Parm, Tixora and Vistrata.
The startups competing in the Elevator Pitch Olympics are Bar Shield, Field 59, Gain Sight, Genome Surveillance, GloKube, IDP Interactive Degree Planner, IFO, iotaMotion, Kurbi, Lake Country Outdoor, LEDsens, Nobo, Social Voucher, SymGym, Telematic, TraknProtect and Whitcomb Technologies.
