Online apartment-finder ABODO published statistics on the price of rent nationwide in its January report, released today.

According to the report, developers are “capitalizing on the strong demand and steady rent growth” in the multifamily sector. New York City-Jersey City MSA led the way, issuing more than 64,000 permits for new multifamily units through the first 11 months of 2015.

Abodo also revealed significant rent increases in cities such as Tucson, Ariz. (+6 percent), and rent decreases in cities such as St. Paul (-8 percent).
