Having already established a presence in Milwaukee and Madison, gener8tor today announced its expansion into Minnesota with a Minneapolis/St. Paul office.
According to a release, gener8tor will be offering both a gBETA pre-seed program and core gener8tor accelerator program, projected to launch in the fall of 2016 and early 2017, respectively.
Similarly to the gBETA program in Madison, the pre-seed program for entrepreneurs and startups with a connection to any Minnesota college or university will run for six weeks.
Also announced is the hiring of Mark McGuire, who will be the managing director of gener8tor’s Minnesota programming. Mark comes from American Family Ventures, where he served as the entrepreneur-in-residence.
“Adding Mark to the gener8tor team and joining the Minneapolis startup community is a great opportunity for gener8tor to expand its services to entrepreneurs,” gener8tor Co-Founder Troy Vosseller said in a statement.
As previously reported, 42 of gener8tor’s startup graduates have raised more than $75 million in financing and created more than 400 jobs.
