UW-Extension today announced the release of Wisconsin Food Processing Guide: A Handbook for Entrepreneurs and Managers to help entrepreneurs start or scale food processing businesses.
“Today’s society embraces artisan-made food businesses for a variety of reasons,” Food Systems Development Program Manager Greg Lawless said. “Contributions to local economies, use of local ingredients and trust in the product’s authenticity are just a few.”
Jenifer A. Buckley and Elena M. Byrne wrote the book, which is sold online for $15.
