The Wisconsin Technology Council’s 14th annual Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest is accepting entries now until 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, organizers announced.
Similar to past years, the contest encourages entrepreneurs in the startup stage of tech-based businesses to apply. The four contest categories are Advanced Manufacturing, Business Services, Information Technology and Life Sciences.
Last year, Hyde, a Madison-based company with a life jacket device that offers increased functionality while reducing bulk, won the contest.
The top 12 companies will present their business plan during the Wisconsin Entrepreneurs’ Conference on June 6 at Union South, and the finalists will share more than $100,000 in cash and in-kind prizes.
