Two University of Wisconsin professors will present at the 12th Annual Wisconsin Stem Cell Symposium, Monday, April 10 at Promega Corporation’s BioPharmaceutical Technology Center, organizers announced recently.
According to a release, Biomedical Engineering Assistant Professor Krishanu Saha and Chemical and Biological Engineering Professor Eric V. Shusta will be among seven featured speakers at the symposium, which brings together leading researchers who are investigating human biology and disease with engineered human cells, organoids and tissues.
Saha will moderate a panel titled “Human Pluripotent Stem Cells in Understanding Genetic Cardiovascular Disease and Effects of Drugs,” while Shusta will present on “Blood-Brain Barrier Modeling Using Human Pluripotent Stem Cells.”
