The Wisconsin Technology Council announced today that Allen Dines will receive the 2017 Excellence in Entrepreneurial Education award at the Wisconsin Early Stage Symposium, taking place Nov. 15-16 at the Monona Terrace.
“While some younger entrepreneurs in Wisconsin may not know it, they owe a lot to Allen Dines and his hard work over time,” Tech Council President Tom Still said in a statement. “We’re proud that his efforts have intersected with those of the Tech Council so many times over the years.”
Dines, who is currently an executive advisor with WISC Partners, has worked for or founded three early stage companies and has been involved with the UW-Madison Office of Corporate Relations, the Badger Startup Summit, MERLIN Mentors and the Midwest Research University Network.
He joins previous “Triple E” award winners Jan Eddy, Tim Keane and Thomas “Rock” Mackie.
