Allergy Amulet announced recently that it won a grant from the New Hampshire Center for Multiscale Modeling and Manufacturing of Biomaterials to advance sensing capabilities for lactose detection in foods.
According to a release, the one-year grant will fund the expansion of Allergy Amulet’s detection offerings and will harness the specificity and scalability of Allergy Amulet’s proprietary polymer films and detection platform.
“We’re thrilled to … advance a new class of nanomaterials while exploring synergies with our food sensors,” Chief Technology Officer Dr. Lukasz Mendecki said in a statement.
The purpose of the New Hampshire Center for Multiscale Modeling and Manufacturing of Biomaterials is to advance the design and manufacture of biomaterials.
Financial terms of the grant were not disclosed.
