Applications for the Doyenne Group’s third annual 5x5x5 breakfast pitch competition are now open, the organization announced today.
According to a release, the event, co-organized by 1 Million Cups Madison, aims to give five women-led ventures the chance to receive a $5,000 seed grant, after giving five-minute pitches to potential investors.
The 5x5x5 Breakfast will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 24 at a location to be determined during the annual Forward Festival.
“This is the third year we’ve hosted the 5x5x5 Pitch event,” Doyenne Group Executive Director Heather Wentler said in a statement. “We’ve had over 100 entries from across the state apply to be part of past events, and attendance has grown to 100 attendees.”
Applications are being accepted today through Saturday, June 4.
BluDiagnostics won last year’s 5x5x5 breakfast pitch competition.
