Applications for the next round of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) Entrepreneurship Partner Grants will open Monday, Aug. 12, the organization announced recently.
According to a release, programs focusing on traditionally underserved populations—such as people of color, women, the LGBTQ+ community, veterans, and rural residents—are encouraged to apply. The grant amounts will range from $50,000-$200,000.
“Entrepreneurs often need help to be able to thrive and succeed,” WEDC CEO Missy Hughes said in a statement. “These grants allow organizations to provide the support entrepreneurs need and remove the barriers they often face.”
The deadline for applications is Sept. 6.
Those wanting to apply should contact Cat Johnson, entrepreneurship and innovation specialist at catherine.johnson@wedc.org.
