The Doyenne Group’s Evergreen Fund is now taking applications through Tuesday, March 20, the organization announced recently.
According to the Doyenne Group, the fund will offer financial support to businesses in the forms of grants ($5,000), loans ($10,000-$50,000) and equity investments ($25,000-$50,000).
As previously reported, to be eligible for the fund, a business must have at least 51 percent ownership by women and/or a minority, a Wisconsin headquarters and 51 percent employment in the state. Also, the products and services must show innovation within their industry, and the business must show potential to scale to a national or international level.
Additional requirements include the company being registered as a C Corporation, S Corporation or LLC, have potential to increase jobs in the state, been in operation for fewer than 10 years and have not received more than $10 million in private equity investment.
