Applications for the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation’s fifth Force for Positive Change are being accepted now through Thursday, Sept. 15, the organization announced recently.

According to the website, the competition celebrates both for-profit and nonprofit organizations focused on creating lasting beneficial impact in, by and for Wisconsin.

All entrants must meet the following criteria: functioning enterprise with a viable revenue-generating product or service already on the market or in use; address an important social and/or environmental challenge that exists in Wisconsin either through their products, services or operations; and have a base operation in Wisconsin.

There will be at least six winners, each of which will earn $10,000.
