Applications for the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation’s UpStart fall entrepreneurship program for women and people of color are now being accepted through June 30, organizers recently announced.
The free program runs for nine weeks, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 12 and ending Tuesday, Nov. 14. Classes are held at the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery.
According to the website, participants will connect with area professionals, gain skills needed to launch a business and establish strategic goals and identify next steps.
Applications can be filled online.
