Applications for the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation’s UpStart fall entrepreneurship program for women and people of color are being accepted through June 1, organizers recently announced.
The free, nine-week program will begin Tuesday, Sept. 13 and run through Tuesday, Nov. 15. The classes are 2.5 hours long and will take place in person at the Discovery Building.
“We are excited to continue to grow the UpStart community and are looking forward to getting back to in-person programming,” UpStart Program Director Katie Rice said. “We look forward to helping entrepreneurs launch and scale their businesses.”
As previously reported, UpStart connects participants to area professionals, helps them gain the skills needed to launch a business and helps them establish strategic goals and identify next steps.
