BioForward has launched Women in Biohealth (WIB), a group that will collaborate on improving the talent ecosystem in Madison’s biohealth science and give an opportunity for other women in the industry to meet, the organization announced recently.
The first meeting, titled “Attracting and Retaining Women in STEM Round Table,” will take place 4:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17 at University Research Park.
According to BioForward, table topics will include finding your place in the industry, understanding what biohealth employers are looking for and making career moves in the Madison area, among others.
The event is free and registration can be done online.
