Bravebird won the Doyenne Group’s 5x5x5 pitch event Wednesday, held virtually during Forward Festival, and received a $5,000 seed grant.
The woman- and minority-owned creative production company partners with clients across industries to produce original content in video and photography. Founded by Noel Miranda and Alex Miranda Cruz in 2015, Bravebird will have the opportunity to participate in the Doyenne Strategy Accelerator.
The other contestants were Brainchild Studios, Real Strong, Wisconsin Mujer and Memra Language Services.
Per the contest rules, all entrants were Wisconsin-based ventures that are majority-owned by a woman or women.
MOSAIC Box won last year’s contest.
