Bunker Labs Wisconsin, a nonprofit whose mission is to help military veterans start and grow businesses, is launching an accelerator program this fall called the Innovator Academy, the organization announced today.
“Bunker Labs’ mission is to inspire, educate and connect military veteran entrepreneurs to the startup community, business leaders and each other,” Bunker Labs Wisconsin Executive Director Michael Ertmer said in a statement. “Our program is focused on providing veterans with world-class mentorship, access to investment capital and assistance in acquiring paying customers.”
According to a release, with a $95,000 grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, the Innovator Academy will offer at least 10 veteran-led startups training, work space and access to mentors and investors in a peer-to-peer learning environment.
The accelerator program is free for veterans and $995 for non-veterans.
Applications will be accepted through Tuesday, Sept. 6.
