Bunker Labs Wisconsin received $238,000 from Governor Walker and the Wisconsin Department of Veteran Affairs, the organization announced recently.
“We are ecstatic to have this opportunity to expand and accelerate our mission to ‘Inspire, Educate, and Connect’ veteran entrepreneurs to help them start and grow their businesses throughout Wisconsin,” Bunker Labs Executive Director Michael Ertmer said in a statement. “This grant money will help us reach out to veteran entrepreneurs throughout the Badger State and help make their business dreams a reality.”
According to a release, the money will be used to begin a series of statewide events to promote entrepreneurial endeavors by Wisconsin’s veterans.
The grant money gifted to Bunker Labs is part of a $400,000 grant that was given to six veterans organizations throughout Wisconsin.
Bunker Labs opened in Madison in November 2015. It is currently running its Innovator Academy.
