The Wisconsin Technology Council announced today it is seeking startups to participate in one of two pitch events at the annual Wisconsin Early Stage Symposium, held Nov. 12-13 at the Monona Terrace.
“The leading innovators, thinkers and investors in the state have taken the conference stage over the past three decades, showcasing the best of Wisconsin,” Tech Council President Tom Still said in a statement. “(The conference theme of) 30×10 will celebrate that history while looking forward with this year’s participants.”
Approximately 20 startups will be selected to present to investors in the Wisconsin Angel Network Investors’ track, while approximately 15 startups will be selected to compete in the Elevator Pitch Olympics.
Applications are due by 5 p.m. Sept. 24.
According to a release, early stage companies representing an array of industries, including biotechnology, medical devices, health care, advanced manufacturing and information technology, are encouraged to apply.
