Adam Bradley is no newbie to web developing. However, after working for eight years for some of the largest e-commerce sites, he found himself feeling that the process was still in need of improvement. Subsequently, he developed CDN Connect, a tool that simplifies the management of images, JavaScript and CSS files online.
“A challenge I frequently dealt with was the balance between giving control to content management and time spent to optimize web pages so they load faster,” Bradley said. “CDN Connect brings together many of the best practices to speed up a webpage, while also making it easier to manage files.”
Bradley revealed that his favorite feature of CDN Connect is the program’s ability to resize easily image files, which he calls “static assets.” As his website explains, image optimization and compression are important since websites are growing in size yet more and more mobile devices are loading them.
“We no longer know the context in which a website is being viewed,” Bradley said. “It could be from a mobile phone on a subway or a tablet in the middle of a park. Responsive web design has been the answer to that, and it’s quickly taking the web community by storm.”
Capitalizing on this trend, Bradley feels as though CDN Connect is a tool that will be essential for web developers looking to save time and effort. Pricing is divided into two plans, one that is free and quota-based, and the other that is a standard subscription fee for $15/month.
