CranioSure, a med-tech company dedicated to craniofacial care, won the 2024 Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest, part of the annual Wisconsin Entrepreneurs’ Conference held Wednesday and Thursday at the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee.
The CranioSure app screens infant head shapes to detect the risk of craniosynostosis, which can lead to a misshaped head. The app’s algorithm can spot abnormalities with more specificity and sensitivity than physical exams.
Once the app is fully developed, it will be available to pediatricians, parents and others. The Madison-based company was co-founded by Daniel Cho in 2023.
The other category winners were Spraycision (Advanced Manufacturing), Rockhopper Ice Collective (Business Services) and Scriptive (Information Technology).
