The Center for Technology Commercialization is offering a free seminar on applying for Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Technology Transfer Research (STTR) funding from 9 a.m. – noon Thursday, Jan. 23 at the MGE Innovation Center, 510 Charmany Dr.

According to a release, the event is aimed at entrepreneurs and small businesses seeking funding for innovative R&D, as well as faculty members, graduate students and post docs who are interested in learning about transitional funding.

Each year, about $2.5 billion in SBIR/STTR funding is available.

Following the event, CTM consultants will be available for one-on-one meetings.
