Discover to Project (D2P) is accepting applications until Friday, Oct. 6 for the next round of its Igniter program, the organization announced recently.
“Igniting ideas is exciting, and UW–Madison is stronger when it broadens entrepreneurial opportunity — when students, faculty and staff alike can test their ideas for marketplace readiness, and when the best innovations can rise to the top and be successful,” D2P Interim Director Andy Richards said in a statement.
According to a release, the program will run for five weeks, beginning Oct. 17 and concluding Nov. 14 and will include a weekly series of workshops from 9 a.m. – noon. Among other things, the project teams will focus on identifying their value propositions, target customer segments, learn customer development and in-depth customer interviews.
To date, the program has helped in the creation of 17 companies.
