DotCom Therapy (DCT) has named Omar Dawood, M.D., as its Chief Executive Officer, the company announced today.
“DotCom Therapy was founded on the guiding mission to create opportunities for children and adolescents to receive the highest quality personalized care,” DotCom Therapy President Rachel Mack Robinson said in a statement. “I’m excited to be partnering with Omar on this next step of our journey as we expand our offerings, specifically our mental health services and deepen our reach to more schools, employers and the healthcare sector.”
According to a release, Dawood was the Head of Commercial Strategy and President of BetterUp Care at BetterUp. Prior to that, he was the Chief Medical Officer and Head of Sales for Calm, an app focused on sleep, meditation and relaxation.
Dawood will help create new efficiencies and opportunities for DCT to accelerate learnings across various patient groups. He also will work on creating a more personalized experience that provides insights to parents and other key stakeholders to tie care delivery to tangible outcomes.
