The Doyenne Group announced today it is accepting applications until June 30 to its second 5x5x5 Breakfast pitch competition, to be held in August at the annual Forward Festival.

According to a release, the event will give five women-led ventures the chance to be selected to receive a $5,000 seed grant based on each venture’s five-minute pitch. The 5x5x5 Breakfast will take place from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27 at Cento.

“We hope women entrepreneurs will attend this as well as the other events taking place during Forward Fest 2015 to promote women-led businesses in Wisconsin,” Doyenne Group Executive Director Heather Wentler said in a statement.

The 2014 grant recipient was Kathryn Jackson of Protect Your Pumps.
