The Doyenne Group announced recently it’s soliciting donations until Sunday as part of its proposal to administer the City of Madison’s Entrepreneurship & Small Business Development Resource Fund.
In addition to matching donations dollar-for-dollar up to $600,000, the fund will provide grants, loans and equity investments startups to grow and scale, according to a release.
“This money is important because it not only provides early stage financing options to women business owners,” Doyenne Co-Founder Heather Wentler said, “but (it) also helps provide programming to help those businesses receiving funding to continue to gain momentum and scale their businesses to the next level of success”
Donations will actually be worth triple the amount, as Doyenne Group also has a funds match with the WEDC Capital Catalyst Program, as reported in August.
