Applications for the Doyenne Group’s fourth annual 5x5x5 breakfast pitch competition are now being accepted until June 4, the organization announced today.
According to a release, the event aims to increase visibility for women entrepreneurs by giving five female-led ventures the chance to receive a $5,000 seed grant, after giving five-minute pitches to a panel of sponsors and Doyenne Ambassadors.
The 5x5x5 Breakfast will be held from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 23 at the University of Wisconsin’s Grainger Hall.
“The Doyenne 5x5x5 is one of the only Forward Fest events that provides a public platform for women entrepreneurs, from across many industries, to highlight their business successes,” Doyenne Group Executive Director Heather Wentler said in a statement.
Lynx Biosciences won the 5x5x5 event last year.
