Drip Drinks, a tech company whose app allows users to pre-order food and drinks from their favorite cafes and earn points to get free items, was named the winner of the fourth annual Transcend Madison startup competition for University of Wisconsin students held April 11-12 at the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery.

Since 2018, the company has launched in three markets, partnering with 10 shops, and has had more than 160 users and 150 orders.

The company is co-founded by Jack Pawlik and Avery Durrant and its mission is to even the playing field between local cafes and national chains.

All Brick Medical won second place and TripAlly took third.
