EatStreet is teaming with Meals on Wheels Association of America and its “Serve Up A Smile” program, the company announced today. The program will help communities across America fight senior isolation and hunger.
“We needed a partner that could grow with us, and one that had a strong commitment to supporting their cause in communities across the nation,” EatStreet CEO Matt Howard said in a statement. “The Meals on Wheels Association of America is the perfect fit, and we’re excited to join them in keeping seniors healthy and smiling.”
According to a release, the goal is have EatStreet’s diners volunteer at one of their local Meals on Wheels partners. EatStreet has already given an annual donation of $50,000.
Meals on Wheels Association of America is in all 50 states and delivers nutritious meals for 2.5 million seniors.
