The Wisconsin Technology Council’s 21st annual Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest is accepting entries now until 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, organizers announced recently.
The contest looks to encourage entrepreneurs in the startup stage of tech-enabled businesses in Wisconsin. Companies can submit ideas in the following categories: Advanced Manufacturing, Business Services, Information Technology and Life Sciences.
Last year, SixLine Semiconductor, a company that works with conductive materials for wireless devices and computing, won the contest.
The top 12 companies will present their business plan during the Wisconsin Entrepreneurs’ Conference in June, and the finalists will share around $120,000 in cash and service prizes.
It is free to enter, and all entries must be submitted online here.
