Exact Sciences broke ground on its new corporate headquarters building at University Research Park, calling it Innovation One, the company announced recently.
According to a release, the 138,000 square-foot building, which is scheduled to be completed in early 2020, will feature natural light and environmentally friendly elements and be LEED certified.
“From our headquarters, Exact Sciences will continue to lead the war on cancer through early detection,” Exact Sciences CEO Kevin Conroy said in a statement. “Our product pipeline is strong and we expect this site to be home to new breakthroughs in cancer screening and diagnostics that will better the lives of people around the world.”
The building will include a two-story link connecting the structure to its existing research facility at 501 Charmany Dr.
Since moving to Madison in 2009, the company has more than 1,600 employees.
