Exact Sciences opened its new 169,000-square foot clinical lab on the west side of Madison this week, the company announced recently.

“Madison, Wisconsin is the home of earlier cancer detection,” Exact Sciences CEO Kevin Conroy said in a statement. “From this campus, our Laboratory and Customer Care teams will help people across the country get screened and detect colorectal cancers and precancers.”

The lab, located at 650 Forward Dr. in Exact Sciences’ Discovery Campus, opened less than 20 months after breaking ground and will have to capacity to process up to seven million Cologuard tests per year.

A parking garage, cafeteria and employee amenities building will be opening in the coming months.
